AMP/ADP polyphosphate phosphotransferase, P. aeruginosa

AMP/ADP PT protein complex is activity-optimised complex assembled from individual AMP PT (PA1150) and ADP PT (PA1151) proteins. This dual activity polyphosphate phosphotransferase complex uses inorganic phosphate to efficiently convert AMP to ATP.

AMP/ADP PT protein is produced in E. coli which contains AMP/ADP PT (6xHIS) expressing plasmid. HIS-tag can be removed by treatment with HRV3C protease (CP1120), followed by collection of the flow-through fraction off the NTA column.
