AMP/ADP polyphosphate phosphotransferase (PPK2), M. ruber

AMP/ADP PT protein is a thermostable (optimal activity at 70°C) dual activity polyphosphate phosphotransferase (PPK2) which uses inorganic phosphate to efficiently convert AMP to ATP. PPK2 can also use GMP, CMP, UMP, GDP, CDP and UDP to produce corresponding nucleotide triphosphates.

AMP/ADP PT protein is purified from  E. coli which contains AMP/ADP PT (6xHIS) expressing plasmid.
