E. coli cytidylate cyclase is a part of Pycsar (pyrimidine cyclase system for antiphage resistance). Cytidylate cyclase generates 3',5'-cyclic CMP from CTP. Cytidylate cyclase is purified from E. coli , which contains cytidylate cyclase (6xHIS) expressed from a plasmid.
