Polyphenol oxidase 4, AbPPO4 (Agar. bisp.), protein labeling, (Cat. no. PO1130)

 AbPPO4 is Polyphenol oxidase 4 which can be used for tag-free enzymatic modification of antibodies and other proteins. It is a mushroom tyrosinase which oxidizes the tyrosine to 1,2-quinone allowing cycloaddition with various bicyclo[6.1.0]nonyne (BCN) derivatives.  It is used for site-specific conjugation, specifically to generate a biorthogonal handle for cycloaddition. 

AbPPO4 protein is purified from E. coli which contains AbPPO4 (His-tag) expressing plasmid. It can be provided in activated form without tags upon request.
