TEV protease

TEV protease cleaves between Q and G in its amino acid recognition sequence, TENLYFQ↓G/SA. It can be used together with serine protease inhibitors such as PMSF, AEBSF, TLCK, Bestatin, pepstatin A, EDTA, and E-64, and protease inhibitor cocktails.

TEV protease is produced from E. coli which contains TEV (6xHIS) expressing plasmid
