T7 RNA polymerase wild-type transcription (Cat. no. RP1040)

T7 RNA polymerase is used to produce mRNA in vitro and in vivo. It binds to a T7 RNA polymerase promoter, a DNA sequence which can be attached to any DNA molecule to produce any mRNA. It is extensively used in prokaryotic and eukaryotic transcription-translation reactions in vitro for transcription and protein production. 

T7 RNA polymerase is purified from E. coli which contains a T7 RNA polymerase (6xHIS) expressing plasmid.
